Veterantoget er fra 1950, vedligholdes og drives af frivillige.
Der er 6 stop undervejs, ved små, gamle stationer. Faaborg, Lucienhøj, Katterød, Pejrup, Grønderup og Korinth. I Korinth, ved den nyrenoverede station, er der mulighed for at besøge cafeen inden toget igen kører tilbage til Faaborg.
Turen gennem landskabet har udsigter over Det sydfynske øhav, og i Pipstorn skov ses mange fortidsminder.
South Funen Veteran Railway runs all summer from Faaborg to Korinth, a half-hour trip through the South Funen countryside.
The veteran train is from 1950, maintained and operated by volunteers.
There are 6 stops along the way, at small, old stations. Faaborg, Lucienhøj, Katterød, Pejrup, Grønderup and Korinth. In Korinth, by the newly renovated station, it is possible to visit the cafe before the train returns to Faaborg.
The trip through the landscape has views of the South Funen archipelago, and in Pipstorn forest many ancient monuments can be seen.
