EN: The three-storey residential building at Römerstrasse 189 with its neighboring houses 191 and 193 in Brühl is listed under number 11 in the list of architectural monuments of the city of Brühl. The predominant component is the brick, which is laid out in three arches on the ground floor. The right arch is designed as a passage into the inner courtyard, the other two arches are closed and each offer space for a window. A bay window connects the first and second floor, and a brick dormer is built into the roof.
However, nothing more precise could be found about the architect and the exact year of construction. It is likely that these houses were built after the Römerhof was completed in 1927, as a similar architectural style can be recognized.
