The gridded roads were boring so running in patterns made things fun and interesting. The handle was done by zig-zags back and forth across the roads. The whole thing was on road surface with the exception of the triangular tip which was done by eye. There was a closed road that inhibited perfection on the sword and the hand guard is lopsided due to a slightly uneven road pattern, but other than that it turned out great.
