This footbridge can be found in Glen Auldyn, Lezayre, Isle of Man and gives access to the tracks and trails in Brookdale Forest (aka Brookdale Plantation) from the B16 minor road.

The bridge is formed from two cast iron girders, under compression, on to which has been built a wooden plank deck with railing on either side.

The bridge deck is wide enough to accommodate mountain bikes and has level access from the B16 and short ramp into the forest for easy access by mountain bike riders.

The tracks and terrain in the forest are a mixture of compacted earth and gravel with some terrain which is steep and rock. Tree roots are also hazard which must be considered. The ground can be slippery and wet particularly between December and March.
