Bicentennial Park is a part of the Sydney Olympic Park precinct. The park consists of a number of paths, picnic areas, trails and the like as described within the attached website.

The sundial appears to be an artwork within the Park.

The gnomon is rather short compared to a rather extensive dial face. Lines marked in the dial face allow for timekeeping and time correction according to the equation of time.
Sundial Type: Horizontal - Flat base, Ground or Pedestal mounted dial plate
