Pleasant Grove Cemetery is located about 6 miles north of the small town of Tupelo, off CR E1620. This is a rural cemetery with no access to town facilities. In the northwest part of the cemetery, just north of the pavilion, this outhouse stands right at the tree line.
It is a wood board structure, with a gabled metal roof. The traditional crescent moon cutouts can be seen on the east side and on the door. There is a wood bench with one hole, to which a standard toilet seat cover has been added. Peeking into the hole, we saw quite a few tied plastic trash bags, so it appears the outhouse is mostly used these days as a trash can. We noted a nice wasp nest, so Go With Caution! The door is partially broken, so there would be no privacy, should the need arise.
