The bench seat and back rest are constructed of a brown composite material while the legs are a black composite material. It sits on three cement pavers on the side of the rail-trail.
The words, "IN MEMORY OF JOHN (JACK) HOFFMAN 2012", are engraved into the boards of the backrest.
