"Restored, on the corner of San Andrés and Pastoriza street is the La Llave Building, which shines on its façade the year of its construction, 1911. It constitutes a clear example of how modernism combines the wood of its central gallery with the iron forgings on the first floor balconies ."

This building was named "The key" because it has a hardware store here.
"This building, which is on a plot on the corner of Calle Pastoriza, has been fortunately restored a few years ago. The exact authorship is not known, and although it is attributed to Antonio López Hernández, there are those who also think that it could be by Julio Galán, perhaps due to its more secessionist decoration. The building has a ground floor and three floors, the access portal to the houses is on Pastoriza street, since the ground floor of San Andrés street is intended for commercial premises. Although the building has three floors, on the main façade (San Andrés, 118), only two are visible, since the third is intended for a terrace. The main façade is divided into three bodies, the central one having a glazed gallery, with some good wood carvings, which is finished off in a balcony-viewpoint of the terrace. The lateral bodies have a balcony on the first floor and a window on the second. The side façade, which is also beautifully decorated, has balconies on the first and second floors, on the lateral bodies, and windows on the three central ones. And it has a cornice that runs along the entire façade, separating the last level, which has windows on this side façade. The forging works are also of a high quality, highlighting the corbels where the first floor rests."
