De Beukelaremolen, een staakmolen met open voet, dateert van 7 januari 1777. Tot 1923 stond deze molen in Poperinge, langs de weg naar Elverdinge. Steentje Molen dankt zijn naam allicht aan het feit dat de molen langs een oude Romeinse weg lag, die op bepaalde plaatsen nog steeds te zien is en als Steenstraat wordt aangeduid. In Elverdinge bestaat nog steeds de straatnaam Steentjemolenstraat.

The Beukelaremolen, a stake mill with an open foot, dates from January 7, 1777. Until 1923 this mill was in Poperinge, along the road to Elverdinge. Steentje Molen probably owes its name to the fact that the mill was located along an ancient Roman road, which can still be seen in certain places and is referred to as Steenstraat. In Elverdinge the street name Steentjemolenstraat still exists.
