The M29 weighed 4,451 lbs. The M29 had a 3 speed transmission and a 2 speed transfer case. The engine was a Studebaker model 6-170 Champion a 6 cylinder 169.6 cubic inch 4 stroke engine. Ran on 72 octane gasoline delivering 70 bhp @ 3600 rpm. Fuel capacity was 35 gallons. Under average condition ( 5 miles per gallon), it could range 165 miles.
