In Memory of W. James Evans, State College Borough Arborist. During my visit I notice twenty or more dedicated oak trees, several dedicated to James Evans. I found a dedication Plaque that reads: " In Loving Memory W. James 'Jim' Evans, 1948-1988, State College Borough Arborist 1975-1988, His Legacy is Ours To Enjoy As We Stroll Down The Beautiful Tree-Lined Streets Or Borough Parks. Dedicated Arbor Day April 28,1989"
