In het zorgcomplex Ewoud in IJsselstein wonen veel ouderen. Daarom is naast het zorgcomplex een beweegtuin gezet, speciaal gericht op oefeningen voor ouderen. Volgens het programmboekje 'fit en veilig' (www.onsijsselstein.nl) is het doel van de beweegtuinen om bij te dragen aan een fijne omgeving om te wonen, om de zintuigen te prikkelen en om de bewoners aan te zetten tot voldoende beweging. Alle beweegtuinen zijn vrij toegankelijk!
Many elderly people live in the Ewoud care complex in IJsselstein. That is why an exercise garden has been set up next to the care complex, specifically aimed at exercises for the elderly. According to the program booklet 'fit and safe' (www.onsijsselstein.nl), the purpose of the exercise gardens is to contribute to a pleasant environment in which to live, to stimulate the senses and to encourage the residents to exercise enough. All exercise gardens are freely accessible!
