Bymarkens vandtårn - Roskilde, Danmark - Water Towers on Waymarking.com

Bymarkens vandtårn blev bygget i 1960 og lukkede igen i 2009. Vandtårnet er 34 meter højt og 36 meter bredt, og på 8 søjler er den store cylindriske vandtank, der kan rumme 6.000 m3 vand.
Det specielle ved vandtårnet var, at der ovenpå vandtanken blev bygget en restaurant og neden under tanken en svømmehal.



Bymarkens water tower was built in 1960 and closed again in 2009. The water tower is 34 meters high and 36 meters wide, and on 8 columns is the large cylindrical water tank that can hold 6,000 m3 of water.
The special thing about the water tower was that a restaurant was built on top of the water tank and a swimming pool below the tank.
