The Chimney served the Schwarzenbach-Huber Company Silk Mill in the early 1900's and later the Puritan Sportswear Company.

The uniqueness lies in the black brick inlay of the upper smoke stack. This stack was once used to exhaust the coal generated boiler system used to heat this factory, The boiler house has been removed during the present remodeling from factory to office and apartment spaces.
Located between 24th and 25th Streets along Ninth Avenue.
