The first Carnegie library to occupy this site was razed in 1941 when a new library, the current building, was constructed by the WPA. The building is located at 301 N. Pomona in Fullerton, California. The south entrance to the building looks very modern, however, the east entrance looks like it was from the 40s. By the plaque, it appears this might have been a library at some point.
