Cette maison historique est située sur la rue Jarry Est, dans l'arrondissement Saint-Léonard à Montréal, Québec.
Selon le Répertoire du patrimoine culturel du Québec, "la maison Dagenais est une résidence d'inspiration française érigée entre 1774 et 1787. La demeure en pierre de plan presque carré possède un étage et demi et est coiffée d'un toit aigu à deux versants retroussés. Un corps de bâtiment secondaire en bois reconstruit après 1930 et dont le plan se rapproche d'un « T » est adossé au mur arrière du corps de logis. Sa première aile, contiguë à la maison, est une cuisine d'été avec un toit à pignon. La seconde aile, perpendiculaire à la cuisine d'été, est une remise coiffée d'un toit en pavillon. Implantée sur un terrain agrémenté d'un couvert végétal".

This historical house is located on Jarry East Street in the Saint-Léonard borough of Montreal, Quebec.
According to the Directory of Cultural Heritage of Quebec, "the Dagenais house is a French-inspired residence erected between 1774 and 1787. The stone house of almost square plan has one and a half floors and is topped with a pitched gable roof. A secondary wooden building reconstructed after 1930 and whose plan resembles a "T" is leaned against the rear wall of the main building. Its first wing, adjacent to the house, is a summer kitchen with a gable roof. The second wing, perpendicular to the summer kitchen, is a shed topped with a pavilion roof. The house is located on land with plant cover".
Saint-Léonard is a borough in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Formerly a separate city, it was merged into the city of Montreal in 2002. The ancient city was originally called Saint-Léonard de Port Maurice after Léonard de Port Maurice, an Italian saint. The borough is home to Via Italia of Montreal.
