The Public Garden was established about 2018, it was endorsed by the Elizabeth Fry Society South Cariboo Region. It is maintained by community gardeners and the Town of Ashcroft.
Though a small public garden it offers six nice size raised beds, with a compost container and water is available. From the sign it is an open door policy for individuals are free "To Help Yourself".
