Het lijkt een film, maar het is realiteit: een musicerende man in een volgestouwde ruimte met oude kasten, klokken, stoelen, spiegels, beelden en lampen. Met een smal paadje ertussendoor. Martin den Otter (74) is de persoon achter de winkel Antiek Gemonde. Van huis uit is Den Otter stukadoor, maar veertig jaar gelden switchte hij van beroep en ging antiek opknappen en verkopen. Den Otter krijgt regelmatig de vraag waarom hij zoveel verzamelt en daar heeft hij een klip-en-klaar antwoord op: ,,Van weggooien is nog nooit iemand rijk geworden. Ik vind het zonde om dingen weg te gooien. Dan geef ik het liever weg."

Den Otter is regularly asked why he collects so much and he has a clear-cut answer: ,, Throwing away has never made anyone rich. I think it's a shame to throw things away. Then I'd rather give it away. "
