This group of natural springs is locally known as "Minas" - Mines, which in Portuguese, besides the common meaning of a place of extraction of minerals, can be applied to streams of underground water coming to the surface.
There are several points of water in a small area, and a few old abandoned tanks. It's located near the path of a hiking route, the PR1 - Mesquitas.
