This confluence is the most important of Galicia because is of the Miño river with Length of 307.5 km, Basin 17,026 km Average flow of 419.9 m³/ s
and the Sil with a Length of 228 km Basin of 4,500 km² and Average flow of 100 m3/s
I highlight this confluence as important because the Miño River is the longest and most abundant in Galicia, where we studied 6 in Galicia as the most important: Miño, Sil, Eume, Tambre, Eo and Ulla. In Spain they are studied as the most important: Miño, Duero, Ebro, Tajo, Guadiana and Guadialquivir. The Sil is not considered a river, because it is a tributary of the Miño. Here is a saying that says "Sil works and Miño is famous." The Miño and its basin, has the degree of Biosphere Reserve. El Miño and El Sil form the Sil Canyon, of great landscape, geological and biosphere importance: flora and fauna. For all these reasons, I highlight this WM with such great importance.
