A homemade Urban mailbox looks like a vintage Pennsylvania Railroad Boxcar.

Altoona was built by and for the Pennsylvania Railroad. For many years the railroad was the largest employer of the area. So it is no wonder that there are railroad themed items to be found.

The mailbox is made of wood and painted to resemble a PRR freight car. It is mounted to a steel pipe on the inside of a fenced yard.
