This pillar box stands on the north side of Ham Park Road, just west of the junction with Matthews Park Avenue. The houses in this area date from the late-Victorian period and the pillar box is probably contemporary with their construction. The red part of the cylinder is in good condition, with fresh red paint, but the lid and the black base to the cylinder need some attention. This box is numbered E15 6.
