The Cedar Grove Walking Trail is a 3.5 kilometre loop around Rogers Pond. Maintained by the Rideau Trail Association, part of the circuit is known as the Cedar Grove Blue Loop. Orange triangle trail flashes mark the main Rideau Trail. Blue trail flashes mark the blue loop. As with many segments of the Rideau Trail, this trail is intended only for human foot traffic. Even so, expect to encounter off-leash dogs.

The city of Ottawa owns 8,149 hectares of this large natural area, the Marlborough Forest. In addition to the hiking trails, there are also snowmobile trails in the Marlborough Forest.
