Long Description:
This suspension bridge is in the Steep Rock Preserve in Washington Depot, CT. It is easy to access via a rail trail that goes flatly along the river. The trail on the other side of the bridge becomes steep and difficult in places. If you do not want to walk back that way, it's best to cross the bridge, then cross back again and return to your car on the rail trail.
Visit Instructions:
  • Walk across the bridge! That is why you came here, wasn't it?
  • Bring a camera so that you can take a photo of the bridge. Upload at least one photo that you took of the bridge, you or others can be in the photo.
