We went to the aquarium in his town on one of our early dates. I remember that we watched an IMAX film about lemurs and I took the photo of the jellyfish tank that is still the wallpaper on my phone almost seven years later.
When we moved in together, we bought an annual membership to the aquarium so we can go as often as we want to. Sometimes in the summer I walk there.
On November 1, 2020, we went back to the aquarium and as we were strolling around we stopped to watch the meerkats doing their thing. Most of them were sleeping, but one was up and walking around. When I looked up, my now-fiance was holding out a ring.
