Long Description:
The building was erected in 1869 for the Bible Christians later becoming a Methodist Church. From 1871 until 1885 it served as the first Government School when the present school opened. The church was constructed of limestone blocks with a slate roof , now corrugated iron, and has three arched windows on either side
