Permian Park is a large and well-appointed park in Burkburnett. A recent renovation replaced much of the worn-out play equipment with new equipment and added much more. There is even a zip line here! There are pavilions and picnic tables and grills for lunch (and for the parents to relax while their offspring wear themselves out) and the public water park is nearby. On the west side of the park walking and jogging trails wind around a small pond. There is also two baseball fields on the north side of the park.
