"The church of Opy is dedicated to Saint Nicholas and was built in the 1100s but, threatening to collapse in 1850, it was demolished. There remains today no vestige of it given that these last stones were buried and scattered by the fighting of the First World War.
Its style was considered very pure for the architecture of the 12th century. It was a building composed of a nave with a side aisle in the form of a shed and a tower of about 30 meters.
Destroyed during the fighting of 1914-1918, it was rebuilt after the war and is still standing today. "

Il ne reste aujourd'hui aucun vestige de celle-ci étant donné que ces dernières pierres furent enfouies et éparpillées par les combats de la Première Guerre mondiale.
Son style était considéré comme très pur pour l'architecture du XIIe siècle. C'était un édifice composé d'une nef avec un bas-côté en forme d'appentis et d'une tour d'environ 30 mètres.
