"The church, repainted on the inside and sanded on the outside, surrounded by a beautiful square is opened and closed every day by a volunteer.
During the 1914-1918 war, the village was completely destroyed. Under the porch of the church inside stands a large wooden cross engraved with the names of 57 British officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers who died in April 1917 to liberate the town.
A monument (Peace and Remembrance Park) symbolizing a destroyed house with an imposing ship anchor, was erected at the entrance to the village. It is a place of pilgrimage for the British military. "

"L’église repeinte intérieurement et sablée extérieurement, entourée d’une belle place est ouverte et refermée chaque jour par un bénévole.
Pendant la guerre 1914-1918, le village fut détruit entièrement. Sous le porche de l’église à l’intérieur se dresse une grande croix en bois sur laquelle sont gravés les noms de 57 officiers, sous-officiers et soldats britanniques morts en avril 1917 pour libérer la commune.
Un monument (parc de la paix et du souvenir) symbolisant une maison détruite avec une imposante ancre de navire, a été érigée à l’entrée du village. C’est un lieu de pèlerinage pour l’armée britannique."
