A dam on Afon Galedffrwd near the village of Bethesda in Gwynedd, Wales.

The dam was built in the mid 1800's to control the flow of water to two waterwheels which provided hydroelectric power to Penrhyn Quarry's main mill and workshop complex at Felin Fawr. The dam and the waterwheels continued to provide power until the 1930's.

One of the most striking features of the dam is its construction from huge blocks of slate.

The wooded area surrounding the dam and Afon Galedffrwd is now a popular walking area known as Parc yr Ocar.
