I had already taken pictures of the Best of India Restaurant and then noticed the owl. Thinking perhaps I could do it as a sculpture, a stretch as best.
Preparing to take that perfect shot... it moved.
What!, it's a weathervane...
Perched atop a tall metal post is a large owl sitting on a tree branch and 6 Hirundinidae (swallows), three facing one direction the other three the opposite. The owl sits at the highest point, and the swallows are perched on the directional arrow.
Best of India Restaurant specializes in authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine. They offer vegetarian and Vegan selections.
