This is a stunning remodel of a two-story brick building constructed in 1875. The date is located at the center roof line in a raised white plaque. It is located on the northeast corner of N. Washington Avenue (Highway 81) and E. 7th Street. The building is stuccoed and painted a light green. The light green stucco areas are bordered by white, with white areas beneath the ground level windows, and a white belt course between the two floors. The building has been remodeled fairly recently as a view on Google maps from the south side showed a building in complete ruin.
Today, the storefront has two double windows and a single glass entry door with sidelights on the north end. A black cloth awning covers this storefront. The second level facade has two double windows and a single, also with the black awning. On the south side of the building, there are individual black awnings over each window. The upper level has seven single windows,and the ground level has six single and one double window unit, plus an entrance at the rear.
The building is currently occupied by an insurance agency.
