The church, overlooking via Belenzani, towards Piazza Duomo, was built on a project by Antonio Brusinelli, helped by Pietro Antonio Ghisi, between 1712 and 1715, commissioned by the brotherhood of the Annunziata, founded in 1627 by a group of students from Trentino on the promotion of the Jesuits, at the time one of the most important in the city. Oriented to the east, it emerges from the complex of neighboring buildings with a single façade, with two orders, marked by composite pilasters framing the portal.
