This U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark Disk is at the southeast corner of the Mitchell County Courthouse in Beloit, Kansas. The disk is not actually on the courthouse itself, but is set horizontally on the top of a concrete wall at the basement entrance, near a gas meter. The disk, which is in good condition, is stamped F 166 and dated 1934.
