The Rooks County Veterans Memorial is in the northeast corner of the County Courthouse Square in Stockton. The large memorial is comprised of seven monuments (six stone and a central black monument) and two benches. See below for a full description. The monument is also well lit at night by three floodlights between the benches.

Description of Memorial:
This large memorial is comprised of six stone monuments, a central black monument, and two stone benches. The central monument bears the text "Lest We Forget" and "United States Armed Forces" along with patriotic imagery, the faces of two soldiers (one male, one female), and an honor guard playing taps. The six stone monuments are arranged three on each side of the central monument and bear the names of county veterans. These monuments also have images - a helicopter, an aircraft, a ship, and so on. The two stone benches in front of the memorial carry the names of the wars listed above.
