This 1924 three-story Classical Revival courthouse faces east on a spacious courthouse square in the center of Stockton. Four large columns are on each corner of the building, rising from the second to third story. The courtroom features beautiful white polished marble, and the corridor floors retain their original ceramic tile. The doors and casings are all solid original oak. There are several original vaults throughout the courthouse with ornate door casings. The building was remodeled in 1974, and further renovations were done in 2007. There is a veterans memorial on the northeast corner of the courthouse square.
