"Iowa and St. Louis (later CB&Q) Railroad depot at South Gifford, MO. The I&STL was in existence from 1903-1947 between Sedan, IA and Mercyville, MO (just east of Elmer). The line between South Gifford and Mercyville was abandoned on 1936. In 1942, the line was abandoned north of South Gifford towards Youngstown." from Ryan Olson Facebook post
