Santuário do Senhor do Socorro
In religious architecture we highlight one of the best examples of the Baroque style in Portugal, classified as a property of public interest, the Sanctuary of Senhor do Socorro, in Labruja.
Sanctuary of Senhor do Socorro is built in 1713, in the place where, in the previous year, a chapel was demolished. In addition to the monumental ensemble of the temple enclosure, with a staircase embellished with biblical figures and angels, it is important to invite visitors to visit the interior of the carving, rococo and ex-votes paintings.

"The construction of the Sanctuary was sponsored by a Brazilian, probably in fulfillment of a promise.
The temple built in 1773, with a single nave, has a chancel and a Rococo façade with two towers. The enclosure is decorated with several religious statues and, on the staircase, statues of angels playing the trumpet.
In the interior, it is worth mentioning rococo carvings and ex-votes paintings."
