We can see on the tourism page in Ourense: "Impressive mansion in the Historic Center that Gulías restores in 1905, is linked to the figure of Pedro Romeu Muelas, promoter of one of the first banks in the city. Today looks like a recent and spectacular rehab."
Banca Romero was the first bank in Ourense. today there is neither the bank in ourense nor the name of the bank.
In 2007 it was acquired by a confederation of businessmen who started a remodeling in 2007. Given its privileged location in the historic area it now houses luxury apartments.
