It is a marble monument with on the front a German army helmet and the text 1914 - 1918.
On the front is also a stone plaque with 10 names of the dead and missing from the Second World War.
On left and right side are carved 9 names of the dead and missing from the First World War.
On the backside the following text is carved:
"To the protectors of the homeland the grateful community of Rimsberg."
The monument stands in the middle of this village at a Y-junction.
It has an iron fence around it of about 1 meter high. The door of the fence can be opened.
It is a neatly maintained place with fine gravel at the bottom.

During the First World War from 1914 to 1918, many young men from Rimsberg lost their lives in France and Russia. Also the Second World War did not bring home many male Rimsberger from the operational areas in Russia and France. The names of the fallen and missing fatherland fighters from Rimsberg can still be read today on a memorial plaque at the Old School.
