[CZ] Hmyzí hotel je umele vytvorené stanovište urcené pro samotárské druhy hmyzu. Jednotlivé cásti s odlišnou výplní poskytují možnost úkrytu ruzným druhum užitecného hmyzu. Hmyzí hotel se pro ne stává náhradním biotopem - hnízdištem, úkrytem a místem prezimování.
Letište Praha provozuje nekolik hmyzích hotelu rozmístených v areálu letište i jeho blízkém okolí, které se zámerem pomoci prírode vyrobili sami zamestnanci spolecnosti.
[ENG] Prague Airport has installed several artificial insect hotels on its own premises, which provide shelter and habitat for various types of solitary insects. The aim of this project is to promote biological diversity, the decline of which, alongside climate changes, is becoming the fundamental environmental issue of our time. The truth is that natural habitats for various fauna species and insects, such as solitary bees, ladybugs or butterflies, are gradually disappearing, and it is their diversity that is crucial for the biodiversity of other species.
