The Allegheny Portage Railroad Park shows the over-mountain connection of the Main Line Canal of Pennsylvania. It encompasses Engine House 6, the Lemon House, the Skew Arch bridge, a visitor center, and an amphitheater. There are trails to explore the grounds and it is connected to the 6 to 10 walking trail. To walk from the top parking area and visitor center to the Engine House and Lemon House there is a boardwalk. This boardwalk is built over and through the wooded area.
