Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Pískovcová socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého (1,2 m) umístena na 2 m vysokém podstavci tvaru hranolu obdélného pudorysu (50x30 cm). Základ tvorí nový betonový podstavec nahrazující sokl puvodního umístení na moste. Hranolovitý podstavec s volutami je na celní strane opatren nápisem s chronogramem. V bocních stranách umísteny niky s postavami svetcu. (Svetice s veneckem na hlave a knihou v ruce, svatý v mnišském rouchu s lebkou). Spodní cást podstavce je nahore zakoncena deskovitou rímsou vpredu reliéfne zpracovanými stylizovanými oblaky s hlavickami trí andílku. Horní cást podstavce konvexne ustupuje pres obloun v plintus pod nohami svetce. Svatý v biretu a knežském rouchu s rochetou má mírne pokrcenou pravou nohu a lehce se natácí ke kríži s korpusem Krista, který pridržuje na levé paži. Kolem hlavy má kovovou svatozár s 5 hvezdami.
