The Bain Rotunda was erected in 1904 in memory of Dr J.W.D. Bain a Clare citizen who sponsored several facilities in town - the Clare Baths, Skating Rink, and the Butter Factory.
The octagonal rotunda (bandstand) has a masonry base with turned timber columns and a double curved corrugated iron roof.
