The "Then" photo shows the former Firehouse No. 1, located at 414 French Street in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania, near the time of its construction in 1907-1908. The firehouse was open until 1979. After it was closed, the building was repurposed as Pufferbelly Restaurant. The restaurant closed in 2015 and the building was purchased by Erie Insurance, which has converted the building to an event center for their buisness, as is shown in the "Now" photo.
