Port Hudson is an area...Leslie is 8 miles away....so the Find-A-Grave location is really misleading...Port Hudson had a post office from 1859 to 1909.

Location of headstone: Holy Family Church Road, E. of MO Hwy C, 8 miles S. of New Haven

The only text on this homemade tombstone is the name "MARY PARMENTIER".

The tombstone is in the shape of a Christian Cross, and is poured and shaped concrete...with the name marked in before it set up.

I know she was born in Germany in 1847 as Mary Bever and married Michael Parmentier. They had 13 children.
