The Lutheran's, like the Roman Catholics, had their own schooling, not just Sunday School, but complete grade school curriculum.
This way they could include religion as a course of study, and keep the history of events in they lane of influence.
Unfortunately, these schools, most of the art least, had to close in the 1950s and 1960s because of the expense of teacher salaries and - most important - Insurance on students.
This building is one of those. Built in the early 1900s, and operated until mid-1950s as a school house. Today, used for Sunday School, and other religious gatherings.
