DE: Das Amtgericht für Brühl und die umliegenden Städte Erftstadt, Hürth und Wesseling befindet sich in der Clemens-August-Straße 34 in Brühl. Das Gebäude wurde zwischen 1911 und 1913 unter Aufsicht des Architekten Josef Blied als neues Rathaus für Brühl erbaut. Anfang der 1970er zog die Stadtverwaltung in die Gebäude am Franziskanerhof um und das Amtgericht, welches zuvor in der Kaiserstraße residierte, konnte hier mit mehr Platz die Prozesse ab 1974 bearbeiten.
Nach einer Neuordnung der Zuständigkeiten 1978 wurde die Gerichtbarkeit der umliegenden Städte Erftstadt, Hürth und Wesseling mit Brühl zusammengelegt. Um dem steigenden Platzbedarf gerecht zu werden, wurde das nur wenige Meter weiter liegende Gebäude am Balthasar-Neumann-Platz 3 erbaut und ab 1992 genutzt.
Seit dem 22. November 1993 befindet sich das Gebäude unter Denkmalschutz und ist in der Denkmalliste der Stadt Brühl unter der Nummer 171 eingetragen.

EN: The district court for Brühl and the surrounding cities of Erftstadt, Hürth and Wesseling is located at Clemens-August-Straße 34 in Brühl. The building was built between 1911 and 1913 under the supervision of the architect Josef Blied as the new town hall for Brühl. At the beginning of the 1970s, the city administration moved to the building at the Franziskanerhof and the district court, which previously resided in Kaiserstraße, was able to process the processes here from 1974 on with more space.
After a reorganization of responsibilities in 1978, the jurisdiction of the surrounding cities of Erftstadt, Hürth and Wesseling was merged with Brühl. In order to meet the increasing space requirements, a new building, which is only a few meters further on, was built at Balthasar-Neumann-Platz 3 and used from 1992.
The building has been under monument protection since November 22nd in 1993 and is listed in the list of monuments of the city of Brühl under number 171.
