The Place:
Benjamin, Texas is a small (population about 250) town that became the county seat of Knox County. And it is by no means the smallest County Seat in Texas. The town consists of the Post Office, a handful of small businesses, and about a hundred residences. The waymark coordinates are at the Post Office.
The Person:
Benjamin was founded by Hilory Buford, president and controlling stockholder in the Wichita and Brazos Stock Company. He named the town after his son, who had been killed by lightning.
