This bench in honour of Roger Allen can be found at the junction of Mull View and the Main Road (A3) in the village of Kirk Michael.

This dark-coloured wooden bench has a horizontally slatted seat and backrest and has two armrests.

There is a rectangular plaque attached to the backrest which has the following dedication:
‘IN MEMORY OF
ROGER ALLEN
WHO LOST HIS LIFE ON THE 2ND JUNE 1992
WHILST COMPETING IN THE CLASSIC T.T. RACES
A TRUE SPORTSMAN
PRESENTED BY THE VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE CLUB’
This bench in honour of John Parry is so positioned as to provide views of the Main Road (A3) which is part of the Mountain Course which is used for the Isle of Man TT and Manx Grand Prix/Classic TT Motorcycle Races.

Interestingly Roger Allen was not killed on the Mountain Course but rather on the Billown Circuit at Ballakeighan Corner when he was competing in the 1992 Pre-TT Classic race. (visit link)
